Vassi for Ogum – Arranged for bateria by Carl Dixon Vassi is a candomble rhythm played for the orixa Ogum, traditionally played on agogo and three atabaque–two with a pair of sticks and one played with one stick and one hand. This arrangement is for instruments commonly played in samba school baterias in Rio de Janeiro, including surdos, Caixa, repique, repique mor, tamborim, agogo, and chocalho.
