The monofilament can be colored by a marker. This special nylon monofilament thread is also great for any translucent fly pattern such as Mysis Shrimp or for ribbing scud patterns. Seems to disappear under head cement or epoxy. Use zap a gap to “weld” the wraps. This thread is slick and strong and very, very clear.
