Thickness has been added to each strand to provide more support and thus prevent curling. A great material for smaller flies. Use the flash sparingly on a streamer or when you need a tiny rib on a nymph. If you decide to use Micro Pearl Flashabou 1/100″ as a rib on a nymph, make sure you counter rib it with tippet or a strong, translucent thread.
