Description Hareline has really moved into the hackle market once Keough Hackles bought the company. They are marketing Hareline Hen Capes at a very affordable price. These capes have a nice range of sizes for soft hackle wet flies as well as collars, legs, wings on dry flies, and wingcases on nymphs. The capes are similar to India Hen Backs but offer a much wider assortment of sizes. They have flexible stems and webby feathers with a wide range of colors. Hareline Hen Capes also have a mottled appearance which makes them a great choice for that “buggy” look. Applications include fins on streamers, claws on crabs and wings on Matukas.
